What does "Adrenna" mean?

Since our launch, many of you have asked where "Adrenna" comes from.  Many of you have also correctly guessed that it's derived from "adrenaline":

noun \  adren·a·line  \ ə-ˈdre-nə-lən \

A hormone secreted by the adrenal glands that increases rates of blood circulation, breathing, and carbohydrate metabolism and prepares muscles for exertion.

- Oxford Dictionary

Adrenaline is commonly associated with the body's fight-or-flight response to stress, danger or competition.  Stress and pressure is unavoidable, whether it's in a dangerous, exciting or competitive situation.  Your body is preparing you to tackle it head on as best it can. When that adrenaline kicks in, you might experience an increased heart rate and breathing,  heightened energy or strength.

Whatever the situation, Adrenna is here to empower you to harness that adrenaline to achieve your goals, in a way that is personally and environmentally sustainable.
